Maria's Moroccan Tiles

Hand Woven, 4,4 Broken Twill woven on floor loom. Final fabric used as a center panel on the third image shown above. Collaboration with a senior fashion design student at Philadelphia University. 
Jacquard Power Woven as a bi-pick fabric. Technical face is the lighter side, and technical back is the navy side. Both sides of final fabric used. Technical front used as a jacket in image two. Technical back used as skirt in image one. Collaboration with a senior fashion design student at Philadelphia University. 
Initial drawing of repeating pattern to capture the fashion design students end vision...Moroccan Tiles. Later turned into a jacquard woven fabric. 
Fashion Design Collaborator's inspiration board. Followed this inspiration given to me to create fabrics that fit the student's end vision.
